PERFORMANCE PROFILE | COMPETITIVE HIGHLIGHTS

The most sparkling thing in ballroom since pink champagne... The Sugar Dandies are the UK's favourite same-sex dance partnership. It's anything but strictly ballroom as the Dandies serve up a perfect brew of fancy footwork and funny tales of life under the mirror ball. Ballroom is in again, and the Sugar Dandies are coming out...

In August 2009, the Sugar Dandies debuted their first full-length show "Ladies Not Required" at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival to critical acclaim and enchanted audiences.

Recently, they were honoured to be selected to peform at the Barbican Centre's Dance Nations Festival. They have also performed at the Savoy and Intercontinental Ballrooms with Dance Umbrella, the world famous Tower Ballroom in Blackpool for Showzam, the De La Warr Pavillion in Bexhill and the Battersea Arts Centre with Duckie, Ida Barr's Variety Parade at the Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield with Admission All Classes, the Colchester Arts Centre's 25th Anniversay Ball, the Adelphi Ballroom in Liverpool for Homotopia, the Out2Dance Festival, the Lovebox Festival, and the Homelands Dance Festival.

They have been featured performers at the Nordic Open in Copenhagen, the German Open in Munich, and the International Equality Tournament in Vienna. Additionally, they have appeared at the Carnivale Interlope Ball in Paris, "The Greatest Show Not on Broadway" in New York, the Grand Ball at the Philadelphia Liberty Dance, the Victor Victoria Ball in Leeds, and the Summer Ball in Brighton.

Soren and Bradley met in 1996 at a gay chorus festival (GALA) in Tampa Florida. In November 2006 they married (UK Civil Partnership). They have danced together for ten years, becoming one of England's most celebrated dance couples.
